In a remarkable act of generosity and community service, CARELINK, an organization known for its dedication to unity and support, has donated items and cash worth GH₵10,000 to the Adullam Orphanage in Obuasi.

The donation ceremony, held at the orphanage, saw the presentation of essential items, including toiletries, drinks, bags of rice, eggs, and other foodstuffs, to help support the children and caregivers of the orphanage.

Fred Nnipa, the Chairman of CARELINK, led the delegation and emphasized the organization’s commitment to fostering unity and making meaningful contributions to society.

“CARELINK was established not just to unite members but to extend a helping hand to those in need. Supporting the Adullam Orphanage is a reflection of our values, and we are delighted to contribute to the well-being of the children here,” he stated.

Speaking at the event, representatives of the Adullam Orphanage expressed profound gratitude to CARELINK for their generosity.

“This donation will go a long way in supporting the daily needs of the children. We are grateful to CARELINK for thinking about us and bringing joy to the children,” they said.

About CARELINK

CARELINK was formed in 2024 with the mission of building unity among its members and extending support to one another. Initially, it was established for the staff of Bryant Mission Hospital in Obuasi, but the group has since opened its doors to individuals outside the hospital and even the health sector. This inclusive approach has strengthened its membership base, which currently stands at 55 dedicated individuals.

The organization believes in the power of community and has consistently encouraged its members to participate in activities that foster social cohesion and service to humanity.

Future Plans and Membership

CARELINK continues to encourage individuals who share its vision to join the group, further strengthening its mission to foster unity and support both within and beyond the group. With a strong foundation laid in 2024 and a growing membership, CARELINK is poised to make an even greater impact in the years ahead.
