From Nigeria to Ghana, Rosine Wishes to Establish Restaurants Across The Country

Born to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother, Fiawoo Rosine Chinenye moved to Ghana in 2016 for her education. Five (5) years down the line, Rosine is the CEO of her own business, Chichi Cuisine.

Chichi Cuisine, established in 2020, is into food and beverages. Rosine Chinenye told Wundef.com that she had always wanted to become a caterer even at young age.

“I have loved cooking since I was young. As a child, I would tell my parents that I want to be a caterer. So I studied catering in school then later worked in a restaurant. I started cooking for people around me and last year, I decided to start my own business” she said.

Rosine prepares the food and does delivery to her customers in Ghana’s capital, Accra. Though the business is still young, Rosine Chinenye admits there are challenges. She revealed that some people choose not to buy from her because she doesnt have a brick and mortar restaurant. But she isn’t giving up. She wishes to build her empire to have restaurants across the country.

“I am working hard and I hope to have 3 or 4 restaurants in the country by the next 5 years. I want to become the best boss lady” she added.

Rosine Chinenye is an old student of Global Training Institute in Tema. Rosine is hoping to create partnerships with ride hailing services to enable her serve more people in Ghana’s capital.

The Artistic Mind of a Criminal

I used to have a client who is a professor when it comes to art, paintings and antiques. He paints one portrait and makes millions out of it and that really fascinated me so much that I started doing some research into the Art, paintings and antiques industry. I discovered that the painting industry in Ghana is very small and young but elsewhere in the world, it is a huge industry which contributes significantly to the economy of these countries. The USA economy in 2014 and 2015 benefited US$730 billion and US$763.6 billion respectively from the Art, Paintings and Antiques sector(1). US$12 billion (£9.2 billion) was contributed to the UK GDP in 2016 from the Art and Painting sector(2) with Singapore’s Art and Painting contributing S$2.13 billion to the GDP in 2013(3).
