Ghanaian Entrepreneur Makes 100% Locally Produced Organic Products to Boost the Immune System

Latest studies propose that the consumption of organic food can contribute to more intake of nutritionally advantageous antioxidants. The positive impacts of antioxidants obtained from organic foods include prevention of heart disease, cancer, vision problems, premature aging, and cognitive malfunction. It is against this background that young female entrepreneur, Adongo Ade started to produce organic products to help boost the immune system of consumers. The advent of COVID19 has even made it more necessary for people to patronize organic products.

Adongo started her business during the Covid19 lockdown in Ghana.

“I decided to research on things that boost the immune system. Organic products aren’t just healthy but they also boost the immune system” she told Wundef.com. “So when specialists were preaching to us to take in immune boosters, I decided to venture into the production of healthy organic products.”

Adongo Ade started Nativebrew Hub in 2020 to produce organic products such as Date Syrup, Date Powder, Tigernut Milk and tigernut powder.

Nativebrew Hub’s products are 100% organic and don’t have any preservatives.

Tiger nuts have been used in traditional medicine for years. Tiger nuts can help people better manage their allergies by acting as a replacement for food items that contain common allergens. Tiger nuts are a source of fatty acids, fiber, and some vitamins and minerals.

Dates provide various antioxidants that have a number of health benefits to offer, including a reduced risk of several diseases. Antioxidants protect your cells from free radicals, which are unstable molecules that may cause harmful reactions in your body and lead to disease. They’re a natural source of fructose, the type of sugar found in fruit.

Still a young business, Adongo Ade revealed a tricycle with a refrigerator at the carrier or an ice pack that keeps cold products for a longer period is currently needed to promote sales and delivery.

She also needs support to acquire machinery that could help her produce the products in larger quantities to meet customers’ demands.

Adongo Ade hopes to see Nativebrew Hub’s products widely accepted and expand to a big factory where she could employ a good number of people.
