26 year old Ghanaian, Wisdom Mawuli Parku Listed by Forbes Africa in its 30under30 Class of 2020

Wisdom Mawuli Parku, the CEO of Majora Group, a privately registered company with subsidiaries in Travel and Education Abroad Consultancy, Photography and Printing has been listed by Forbes Africa in its prestigious 30under30 class of 2020.

Each year, FORBES AFRICA looks for resilient self-starters, innovators, entrepreneurs and disruptors who have the acumen to stay the course in their chosen field, come what may. Past honorees include Bruce Diale, Kwesta, Burna Boy,  Busi Mkhumbuzi Pooe, Davido, Yemi Alade, Vere Shaba, Nasty C and WizKid.

Majora Group was commenced in Obuasi just after he completed his National Service Program at age twenty – three (23). He started the company due to an unfavorable experience he encountered whiles a student in the university. He lost over Ghc3,000.00 when he had wanted to travel to the United States of America in 2014 and consulted a travel and tour company on campus. His visa was sadly turned down but it spurred him to conduct a detailed research in the travelling and ticketing industry, thence the birth of Majora Group. He started the company from his personal savings just after completing National Service. A little over Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc10,000) was initially invested in the business as the start – up capital.
