Dr. Brian Reuben Calls for a New Story for Africa at the Africa Economic Summit in Accra

The Africa Economic Summit 2023, themed “New Africa, New Opportunities,” kicked off today in Ghana with a clear objective of establishing Africa as a frontier of global thinking on major economic, cultural, and social issues affecting the world. The two-day event brings together heads of states, ministers, lawmakers, governors, heads of financial institutions, CEOs of leading companies in Africa, investors, thought leaders, international media, and other stakeholders to discuss and provide strategic guidelines on the competitiveness of African nations.

In his opening address, Dr. Brian Reuben, CEO of the Africa Economic Summit Group, highlighted the opportunity presented to Africa by the current state of the world to rewrite the story of Africa.
