Ghana has confirmed two new cases of the deadly coronavirus disease bringing the total number of cases in the country to nine (9).
The new cases comes despite government’s drastic measures to curb its spread by banning social gatherings and imposing a travel ban on countries with high cases of the disease.
Confirming the news, the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said on his twitter account the two cases were confirmed overnight and health services are still managing all suspected and confirmed cases well. There is currently no details on the gender or location of the victims. More details soon.
