Dare to Develop Yourself

“Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything”-George Bernard Shaw

Do you think everyone needs courage in Self Development?

Can you develop yourself without having enough courage to make the move?

Making new moves can be scary sometimes, mostly because of the uncertainty attached to these moves.

The average human is afraid to fail. That’s the bitter truth we face everyday. We are worried about what people will say about our inability to succeed at what we tried to do.

But as usual I ask myself “does that matter?” A big no! I believe trying at something and failing at it is the best form of learning.

Why? Because You gain better experience from what you did wrong and why it didn’t work out. This is practical not theoretical.

On this day, I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and proclaim these words

I AM GOING TO LEAVE MY COMFORT ZONE. I WILL TRY OUT NEW THINGS TO DEVELOP MYSELF, IF I FAIL, THAT IS MY LEARNING GROUND BUT IF I SUCCEED, THAT ADDS A SCORE TO MY BOARD!.

Now, go out there and be awesome!

And Remember your mind is your greatest asset!

The Artistic Mind of a Criminal

I used to have a client who is a professor when it comes to art, paintings and antiques. He paints one portrait and makes millions out of it and that really fascinated me so much that I started doing some research into the Art, paintings and antiques industry. I discovered that the painting industry in Ghana is very small and young but elsewhere in the world, it is a huge industry which contributes significantly to the economy of these countries. The USA economy in 2014 and 2015 benefited US$730 billion and US$763.6 billion respectively from the Art, Paintings and Antiques sector(1). US$12 billion (£9.2 billion) was contributed to the UK GDP in 2016 from the Art and Painting sector(2) with Singapore’s Art and Painting contributing S$2.13 billion to the GDP in 2013(3).
