She is the First Black App Developer to Partner With Experian, a $5 Billion Credit Reporting Agency

Acclaimed financial guru Angel Rich has partnered with Experian, a $5 billion dollar credit reporting agency, to launch her newly developed artificial intelligence fintech app called CreditRich. The app rounds up consumers’ spare change to pay their bills intelligently and potentially increase their credit score in real-time. It is designed to help people manage their credit potential and is offering what the company terms ‘credit intelligence’ to help users forecast the impact of their credit behavior.

Leveraging data from Experian® combined with Angel’s proprietary algorithm, CreditRich is available on Android and Apple iOS and is available to consumers in the U.S. market at $9.99 per month or $99 per year, as well as in a discounted enterprise model.

Hailed as an international wealth pioneer and financial literacy innovator that was recently featured on Cheddar News, Angel has garnered recognition as the “Next Steve Jobs” by Forbes, and recognition from Google, the State Department, the United Nations, among others. She created the first financial literacy mobile game on the market, CreditStacker, which grew to become the #1 education app in 14 countries and top 5 in 40 countries on Apple and named the best financial literacy product in the country by The White House, Department of Education, and JPMorgan Chase. So, this is not Angel’s first time on the playground!

CreditRich targets all communities with a heightened focus on Millennials, Women, Veterans, and Black Americans. The ground-breaking fintech app uses a proprietary algorithm and machine learning to help users have the greatest impact on their credit and debt management, especially bill pay. This technology will enable banks to increase loans to first-time home buyers, auto sales, small business lines of credit, and assist other financial institutions such as insurance companies to pay premiums.

Additionally, Angel is working with major employers to provide the app as part of their wellness programs. Having assisted in building the wealth management system at her former employer, Prudential Financial, Rich feels it is deeply important that companies view assisting employees with wealth as seriously as they do health.

Since launching her own company, Angel has been named one of the Top 5 Global Icons of the Most Influential People in the African Diaspora by the United Nations and appointed Commissioner of the DC Financial Literacy Council by the Mayor of DC, where she was then elected Vice-Chair and led the design of the financial literacy plan for the city. She has also authored three books including best-seller History of the Black Dollar and the WealthyLife Financial Literacy Textbook; both are currently taught in schools and universities.

Angel feels she could not have pulled off the immense success of the app without her co-founders Yusuf Henriques, Chief Strategy Officer; Eric Williams, Chief Technology Officer; and Courtney Keen, Chief Operations Officer.

She is proud to have savvy team members such as Digital Media Manager Ayla Kinnaird, Chief Talent Officer Two Lewis, Chief Branding Officer Naturi Naughton, the actress and platinum-selling recording artist from 3LW, known for her roles on the hit Starz series “Power,” “Power Book II: Ghost,” and movies “Notorious,” “Fame”; and Campaign Strategist Rushion McDonald, Two-Time EMMY® and Three-Time NAACP Image Award-winning television producer and host of Money Making Conversations.

Known for her inspiring TEDx Talk, “Be a Trojan Horse: The Power of Being Underestimated,” Angel is well positioned with the financial services industry and poised for disruption with CreditRich.

The CreditRich app is available via Google Play and Apple’s App Store now.
