The 17 Goals of the Sustainable Development Goals build on the successes of the Millennium Development Goals, introducing new areas such as climate change, economy inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice, among other priorities. Therefore, the importance of partnership cannot be overemphasized in the move to promoting Sustainable Development.
Social Good Lagos is a community of professionals and thought leaders who are dedicated to using new media and digital technologies to enhance social good initiatives through partnerships, collaborations and innovation. A community United by a shared vision, leveraging on the power of new media and technology to make the world a better place.
Social Good Lagos is the newest of the United Nations Foundation +SocialGood Community (plussocialgood.org). Other chapters includes Social Good Brazil, Social Good Peru, Social Good Ghana amongst many others.
