The Game Loses Record Label and Album Royalties After Judge Orders Him to Pay $7M in Damages

Compton-born rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, known as The Game, will have his record label and all profits generated from his last album seized after he reportedly failed to appear in court for a $7 million sexual assault lawsuit that a woman filed against him back in 2016.
Court documents obtained by AllHipHop.com reveal that a final judgement has indeed been made by the Honorable Virginia A. Phillips, a Chief District Judge for the Central District of California in Los Angeles. Her judgement orders that Priscilla Rainey, the woman who accused him of sexual assault, can now take ownership of The Game’s label which is called LA Prolific, and any profits generated from his last album, Born 2 Rap.

Her default ruling is based on the fact that The Game, who is 40-years old, failed to appear in court to address the charges. He was being sued for more than $7 million dollars, and the judge says if he does not comply with the collection of the damages owed, he will be held in contempt of court.

Her judgement reads: “All third parties who receive notice of this Order are directed to pay any and all money or property due, or to become due, under this Order, directly to Plaintiff either: (1) by check payable to Priscilla Rainey, and delivered to Plaintiff’s counsel until the judgment is satisfied in full…”

The Game has responded on Instagram in complete denial, saying that no such judgement has been made. He says that he is not required to pay anything.
