These Two Black Chiropracters — A Happily Married Couple — Own Their Own Chiropractic Clinic

Dr. Joe Taylor and Dr. Karina Sharpe-Taylor, founders of Renewed Wellness Center

Dr. Joe Taylor and Dr. Karina Sharpe-Taylor, a married Black couple, have been together as partners in life and in business. Both are licensed chiropractic doctors and the owners of their own clinic called Renewed Wellness Integrative Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since 2011, they have been serving their loyal clients and receiving quite a bit of positive feedback.
Joe, a former track and field athlete, first knew about chiropractic treatment when he experienced chronic hamstring injuries. He said he was amazed when a chiropractor accurately addressed his injury, unlike other medical doctors who were only able to provide temporary relief using traditional medical treatment. That’s when he started aiming to be a chiropractor. That was only the recovery part, for if you were to navigate here, you’d also know the provisions you’d have the rights to ask under a circumstance like this.

On the other hand, Karina has always been fond of the human anatomy. She was studying for her Masters in Business when she got curious about chiropractic treatment and researched about it. When she found that it doesn’t only focus on the functions of the spine, but the body overall, she was also amazed and decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor.

The two first met as classmates at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. They graduated with a doctorate of chiropractic medicine in 2011 where Joe finished cum laude. They both began their practice in West Palm Beach before opening their own chiropractic clinic in May 2016.

As a married couple, they still had differences when it comes to running the business. Dr. Joe Taylor is more of the one who plans about the future of the business while Dr. Karina Taylor wants to focus more on the present actions. Despite that, they work together to give their clients the best service they could get. Most of all, they do not forget to enjoy their relationship as a couple.

At Renewed Wellness, they offer treatment services to offer relief from fibromyalgia, migraines, car accident injuries, or other causes of neck, back and joint pain. They aim to help optimize spinal health and enhance the overall well-being of their clients.

The Artistic Mind of a Criminal

I used to have a client who is a professor when it comes to art, paintings and antiques. He paints one portrait and makes millions out of it and that really fascinated me so much that I started doing some research into the Art, paintings and antiques industry. I discovered that the painting industry in Ghana is very small and young but elsewhere in the world, it is a huge industry which contributes significantly to the economy of these countries. The USA economy in 2014 and 2015 benefited US$730 billion and US$763.6 billion respectively from the Art, Paintings and Antiques sector(1). US$12 billion (£9.2 billion) was contributed to the UK GDP in 2016 from the Art and Painting sector(2) with Singapore’s Art and Painting contributing S$2.13 billion to the GDP in 2013(3).
