5 Signs you are Wise

There’s a difference between wisdom and knowledge. The world is full of educated fools.

One, Relationships. Wise people take care of their relationships at home and at work. Fools fight everywhere. Fools destroy their marriages. Fools destroy their jobs.

Two, Self-Control. Wise people control their appetites. Fools drink themselves silly. Fools eat with no limits. Their god is their stomach. Fools sleep with anyone and anything that is available.

Three, Learning. Wise people never graduate from learning. Fools know everything. They are unteachable. Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions (Proverbs 18:2).

Four, Adaptability. Wise people adapt quickly to new realities. They know life is tough. When problems hit, they think about the solution on their feet. Fools are stressed by the slightest changes in their environment. If they lose a job or a loved one, they lose themselves… and expect others to solve their problems.

Five, God. Wise people obey God. Fools contend with their Creator. Fools say there’s no God (Psalm 14:1 & Psalm 53:1). Wise people make wise eternal choices. Fools think they can fool God.

In Matthew 7:24-28, Jesus compared a wise and a foolish builder. The wise built his house on rock. The foolish built his house on sand. Storms hit both houses. The house built on sand fell apart. Our foundations are revealed by storms. The only foundation that lasts is a life built on God’s Word.

The Artistic Mind of a Criminal

I used to have a client who is a professor when it comes to art, paintings and antiques. He paints one portrait and makes millions out of it and that really fascinated me so much that I started doing some research into the Art, paintings and antiques industry. I discovered that the painting industry in Ghana is very small and young but elsewhere in the world, it is a huge industry which contributes significantly to the economy of these countries. The USA economy in 2014 and 2015 benefited US$730 billion and US$763.6 billion respectively from the Art, Paintings and Antiques sector(1). US$12 billion (£9.2 billion) was contributed to the UK GDP in 2016 from the Art and Painting sector(2) with Singapore’s Art and Painting contributing S$2.13 billion to the GDP in 2013(3).
