Maiden Ghana Health & Wellness Fair Slated for December 2019

The first edition of Ghana Health & Wellness fair organised by the Benekie Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service would be held from Tuesday December 17 to Thursday December 19, 2019 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra.The health fair under the theme, “Bridging the health education gap on NCDs: Our Responsibility,” is a three-day event that seeks to bring together individuals, governmental and non-governmental organisations, manufacturers, local and foreign corporate bodies within the health fraternity to share knowledge and resources in the health sector.

 

With a focus on Non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, asthma, cancers, endometriosis, diabetes, among others, the fair will serve as an avenue for health enthusiasts and professionals to hold discussions on these diseases and share preventive mechanisms and remedies.

 

Participants will also be engaged in cultivating best health practices, health rights and be exposed to innovation in the industry.

 

A part of the activities will be dedicated to people in the health business to explore new opportunities while introducing patrons to their products plus free consultation.

 

Additionally, it will be a moment to pose questions, find solutions, share and brainstorm ideas, transfer skills and develop award-winning strategies to tackle some of the challenges confronting the health front in Ghana.

 

This would be the first of its kind in the country and would be replicated each year.
