The Nasser International Forum has revealed detailed statistics of participants in the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, revealing significant diversity in nationalities, continents, and ages of applicants. These statistics underscore the global stature of the fellowship, which attracts youth from around the world to participate in its distinguished leadership programs.

Hassan Ghazaly, an anthropologist and founder of the Nasser International Forum, stated: “The East Africa region represented the highest number of applicants after the Arab Republic of Egypt, followed by the West Africa region and then the continent of Asia. The total number of participating nationalities reached 93 different nationalities, reflecting the cultural and geographical diversity of the fellowship.”

Ghazaly added, “Africa dominated the largest proportion of applicants, followed by Asia, Europe, South America, North America, as well as Australia and Antarctica.”

Ghazaly pointed out, “Male applicants accounted for approximately 60% of participants, while female applicants made up 40%, reflecting the fellowship’s commitment to achieving gender balance in its participation.”

The founder of the Nasser International Forum emphasized that publishing these statistics is rooted in the principle of transparency and represents a positive practice. It also highlights the fellowship’s success in attracting youth from across the globe, reinforcing its role as an international platform for exchanging experiences and fostering collaboration among future leaders. He added that the fellowship will continue to support issues of the Global South and promote principles of international justice and sustainable development, in line with Egypt’s vision and the United Nations’ goals.
