Never complain about your job

Millions of people around you are jobless. And nobody forces you to work. It’s a willing buyer, willing seller economy. Remember you have options – you can resign and start your own business. Complaining about your job hurts you and creates a sour working environment for your colleagues.

When you thank God for your job, you see career growth opportunities that you’ve been blind to. I’m not suggesting you allow your boss to misuse you. Rather, discuss the particular issue that you’d want addressed. For instance, ask your boss, “When can we discuss about my pay rise?”

When you are added more responsibilities, see it as an opportunity for promotion. The average person will complain why more work for the same pay. The grateful person will thank God for being selected for higher responsibilities. When you love your job, you enjoy going to work.

The Artistic Mind of a Criminal

I used to have a client who is a professor when it comes to art, paintings and antiques. He paints one portrait and makes millions out of it and that really fascinated me so much that I started doing some research into the Art, paintings and antiques industry. I discovered that the painting industry in Ghana is very small and young but elsewhere in the world, it is a huge industry which contributes significantly to the economy of these countries. The USA economy in 2014 and 2015 benefited US$730 billion and US$763.6 billion respectively from the Art, Paintings and Antiques sector(1). US$12 billion (£9.2 billion) was contributed to the UK GDP in 2016 from the Art and Painting sector(2) with Singapore’s Art and Painting contributing S$2.13 billion to the GDP in 2013(3).
