Charlotte Owusu Appiah also known as Lady Chartty is a freelance journalist, musician and the founder of Chartty4charity Foundation.
She has been running her organisation for three years and they have made several contributions to the improvement of lives of the vulnerable in the community.
Charlotte has a degree in mass communications and journalism from Sikkim Manipal University in India.
“I have the passion for helping the needy. That was the only motivation that got me into having a charity foundation”, she revealed to Wundef.com. Charlotte is currently working with 12 team workers.
“Impacting and making others smile is fulfilling for me”, she said.
Charlotte through Chartty2charity Foundation made a donation last year to the Echoing Hills Village, a centre which cares for persons with disabilities and vulnerable children, including orphans. They presented items including clothes, mosquito nets, cash and toiletries to the centre. Charlotte hopes to repeat a similar thing this year.
Charlotte has a single track in the pipeline which she hopes to release in July. She also has a song with popular Ghanaian Gospel Artiste, Ohemaa Mercy which will also be released in due time. She hopes to hit the world stage soon with her work and singing.
