Mama Love Foundation to Partner Achievers to Train and Employ Sonographers

Obuasi based Non- Governmental Organization Mama Love Foundation has teamed up with Achievers Medical center to train and employ 5 young people in Sonography.


Speaking to the media ,the President of Mama Love Foundation Dr. Love Konadu said the initiative is part of the skills development agenda of Mama Love Foundation. She admitted that it was important for the youth to acquire some form of skills to be able to influence the job market.


She again stated that those who would be enrolled in the short course will be given partial scholarship by Mama Love Foundation.
” This is a partnership between Mama Love and Achievers Medical center to train the youth and offer them immediate employment. We are doing this to empower the youth to acquire skills and get them employment too”.


Dr. Konadu threw more light on the requirements needed to be enrolled. She said they are targeting people from diverse backgrounds without placing emphasis on any form of qualification. Again, she said people outside Obuasi can also access the opportunity.


She said they do not want to use education as a barrier for those who would want to access this opportunity hence the door is opened for all who would be interested in that opportunity.
