Hon. John Alexander Kobina Ackon has been a Municipal Chief Executive of Obuasi, Deputy Minister of Chieftaincy, Deputy Minister of Gender and Social Protection and finally the Ashanti regional Minister during the Mills and Mahama administrations in Ghana between 2009 and 2016. Before coming into politics, he was a miner at AngloGold Ashanti, Obuasi Mine.
In the first video, we look into his education and work at the mine.
